Legislative Mandate
Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife operates under the KwaZulu-Natal Nature Conservation Management Act (Act No.9 of 1997), which mandates the organisation to:
- Direct the management of nature conservation within the province
- Manage protected areas
- Develop and promote ecotourism facilities within protected areas
- Ensure proper, efficient and effective management of the Conservation Service
